Back in 1994 the poultry branch in Romania had still an inchoate status. The unsuccessful privatisations or the state farms, transformed big poultry complexes in simple stealing locations. Few farms have been saved and were able to continue their activity. Among them was also the poultry farm from Crăieşti (Mureş), taken over by SC. OPREA AVICOM SRL, and transformed in a successful family business. The main activity was poultry breeding and chicken selling and because the trade developed, in 1998 a new slaughterhouse was opened with a slaughter volume of 1000 heads/hour. The same here, on the Mureş market a new range of poultry, Puiul de Crăieşti was launched. In the beginning there were only frozen products to be found on the local market. Future esteems show an increase of the production volume due to the quality that has made us famous on the local market, a development on the delivery network level as well as a greater notoriety of our brand.

Our products are merchandised in retail companies such as Auchan (Târgu Mureş and Cluj-Napoca), Real (Târgu Mureş and Cluj-Napoca), Kaufland (Târgu Mureş) and in the chain stores Darina - Târgu Mureş. You can also find our poultry products in the three trade representations in the county Mureş and in the partner stores all over the counties Mureş, Bistriţa and Harghita.
